This cocktail is so simple and the ultimate weekend punch for a summer gathering. I try and use good vodka in a cocktail like this, because with only three ingredients, I like them all to be good quality. I make this ahead of time and allow it to sit and hang out in the fridge so the flavors can combine. When using vodka, there are many cocktail variations, so feel free to use this as a basic guide and alter it as you like!
The Madras Cocktail:
1.5 cups vodka (I used Tito’s)
3 cups cranberry juice
1 cup orange juice
Orange slices for garnish
Directions: Combine vodka, cranberry juice, and orange juice in a pitcher and stir to combine. Chill in the refrigerator until ready to serve. To serve, fill a glass with ice and pour in the drink. Garnish with orange slices. Makes 4-5 drinks. I doubled this recipe for my large pitcher.
